Questions families ask
Does my child need their own device?
No. Most families use one old phone or a tablet that lives in the kitchen. Hand it over, they tap through their routine, you take it back. If your child does have their own device, they can sign in there instead.
My child cannot read yet.
Every step can carry a picture or an emoji, and the step titles can be read aloud with one tap. Plenty of five-year-olds run their whole bedtime from the icons alone.
How do I hand the screen to my child?
Two taps, either way round. On Today, tap Hand over next to their name; inside a routine, tap Hand it to them. Flowly locks to their side of the app: one step at a time, nothing else they can reach. Coming back to your side asks for your code, which you set in Settings.
Can my child use it on a second device?
Yes, on as many as you like. There is no separate child account to make: sign in with the same account on the tablet or the old phone and hand the screen over there. It stays one family, so a routine finished on the kitchen tablet is finished on your phone too. Someone in another house, a co-parent or a grandparent, gets their own sign-in instead: invite them from Family and choose what they can see.
What happens when they miss a day?
Nothing. No points are removed, no streak is broken in a way that is shown to your child, and there is no message about failing. A missed day is simply a day with no data in it.
Is this a therapy or diagnostic tool?
No. Flowly helps with routines and organisation. It does not assess, diagnose or treat anything, it never asks for a diagnosis, and nothing it shows you is a clinical opinion.
Can two parents use it?
Yes. You can invite a co-parent, a grandparent or a babysitter, and choose what each of them can see. A caregiver can run tonight's bedtime without getting a month of your child's history.
Can I get my data out, or delete it?
Yes to both, from your settings, without asking anybody. You can export everything as a file, delete a single child, delete all history, or delete the whole account. Deleting means deleting.
