What we store, and why
Short version: the routines you write, what was tapped and when, and the reminders you log yourself. Nothing else. Two things do leave this server, both because you switched them on: email, and messages to a device.
What we store
- Your email address and password, so you can sign in
- The first name and picture you give each child
- The routines and steps you write
- Which steps were tapped, skipped or left, and when
- Reminders you log yourself, by tapping "I had to remind them"
- Which pages of the product get used, so we know what is worth building
- The address of any device you turned messages on for, and the keys that let this server encrypt to it
What leaves this server
Email goes out through this machine's own mail service: a reset link, an invitation you sent, the weekly summary and the morning reminder, each only while you leave it switched on. There is no mail provider in between.
A message to a device goes through the push service your browser belongs to: Google's for Chrome, Mozilla's for Firefox. There is no account with them and no library. The text is encrypted here, on this server, with a key only your device holds, so the push service sees that a message went to a device and how big it was, and not a word of what it says. Today that text names a child and a step. Turning the switches off in Settings stops it entirely.
What we never ask for
- A diagnosis, a condition, or anything medical
- A surname, an address, a school, or a date of birth
- Location or contacts
- The camera and the microphone, only while calling is on and a call is happening
Who can see it
You, and anybody you invite. A caregiver you invite sees only the children you name and none of the analytics. Nothing is shared with anybody else, sold, or used to train anything.
What Flowly cannot see
Anything that happens away from the screen. It cannot hear a reminder, notice a hard morning, or know why a routine went badly. Every number in the product comes from a tap somebody made.
Getting it back or getting rid of it
From your settings you can download everything as a file, clear all recorded history, delete a single child profile, or delete the whole account. Deleting removes the rows; it does not hide them.
What this product is not
Flowly supports routines and organisation. It is not a medical, diagnostic or therapy product, it does not assess anybody, and nothing it shows you is a clinical opinion.
