Routine guide
A bedtime routine that is the same every single night
Predictable order, warnings before anything changes, and a screen with nothing on it but the step you are on.
When the order of the evening is known in advance, most of the difficulty is already gone. What tends to remain is the transitions, the moments between things, and those respond much better to a warning than to a reminder.
What actually helps
- Keep the order fixed. If it has to change, change it in the app first so the child sees the new order before it happens.
- Use calm mode: no animation, no celebration, no counters, large type, one step.
- Put a warning on every step that interrupts something. Ten minutes, then five, then now.
- Pictures over words, if that is what works. Every step can carry an icon or a photo.
Do I have to tell the app anything about my child?
A first name, and that is the only required field in the whole product. There is no question anywhere about a diagnosis, a condition, a school or a professional, because none of it would change what the app does.
The routine
🌙 Bedtime

Free for one child and three routines. You can change every step.
Your child sees one step at a time
Not the whole list. The step they are on, big and clear, with the next one quiet underneath, and a count of what is already done. That is the entire child experience, and it is why it works when a chart on the fridge stops working.

Other routines
Flowly supports routines and organisation. It is not a medical, diagnostic or therapy product, it does not assess anybody, and no diagnosis is ever asked for.
